First we learn about the other partners.

Pupils discover the partners by Mystery Skype, personal profile, logo, mascot and title for this project.

Then we start to explore food within Culture, Maths and Sciences.

How do we celebrate and what food do we use to do this?

Let's make a cook-book and vote for a European menu.

What kind of Maths do we need to cook?

Frequent small surveys will help us to get to know the similarities and differences between the teenagers and their food habbits.

Let's discover the science used in the kitchen. Investigate the proces of cooking, analyze the composition.

How much sugar do we eat?

Let's explore everything about food!
Aims

Learn about European culture and traditions.

Learn about fractions, proportions, statistics in Maths

Improve in foreign languages by communication with peer students, by making documents, writing texts, speaking in videos, ...

Learn about Sciences, explore the chemical proces during cooking, the physical condition of food, discover all kinds of food (biology)

Learn about economics, comparing prices, analysing the price of a menu.
Work process

In august 2016 all partners will communicate and work out a project calendar.

In September pupils get to know each other and the aim of the project. Pupils will select a logo, mascotte, title, ...

In October we work on a personal introduction, profile, video, ... We start with a first survey.

November and December we share cultural traditions about celebrations and food, recipes, a monthly survey, a travelling mascotte, chat and videoconferences.

January till March we continue with the cook-book and surveys. We explore the sciences in food.

In april we present the outcomes of the project to parents.
Expected results

All final products will be in our twinspace.

The site of the project will be made, and also project will be on the social networks too.

Together we publish a cook-book with the best European menu. And a magazine with the results and comments of the several surveys.
